A gif-image is provided for each amino acid containing histograms of the
assigned chemical shift distributions. The image is a summary of
1H, 13C, and 15N chemical shifts available from a subset of the entries
in the BMRB archive. The subset is intended to include data from
'diamagnetic' systems, but was derived by eliminating entries that contained
chemical shifts for atoms that fell outside 8 sigma from the mean. In total
these data represent more than 140,000 chemical shifts. The tick marks
along the top of each plot indicate the average chemical shift calculated for
a given atom in the amino acid. The complete list of
statistical values for the amino acids is
availble.
